Environmental Policy
It is the policy of CRB to operate in a manner protective of our employees, customers and the environment. This is in line with the CRB EHS Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. CRB supports environmental sustainability practices through the conduct of our business. We believe in environmental leadership and responsibility, and that business success and environmental responsibility work hand in hand.
We encourage continual improvement in achievement of the following goals:
Regulatory Compliance
We will support our clients’ efforts to meet the requirements of all applicable federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations through sustainable design and effective project management.
Conservation
We will strive to diminish the consumption of natural resources through cost-effective use of recycled and reused materials and the conservation of energy and water. We will develop knowledge of sustainable practice through education to aid in the creation of feasible and energy efficient solutions, and encourage the certification of all employees as LEED accredited professionals.
Prevention of Pollution
We will endeavor to improve our clients’ environmental quality of emissions and effluents by designing cost-effective operational controls and diligently monitoring innovative technologies.
Ecology and Habitats
We will support the protection of habitats, wetlands and other sensitive ecological resources in our project activities and contractor oversight.
Communications
We will communicate this policy to all employees, make it available to the public and establish procedures to receive and respond to inquiries from external interested parties. We will be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the communities where we operate. We will provide services and expertise to help others develop or improve sustainable practice and encourage the participation of CRB staff in community sustainability programs through local office partnerships and activities.
"I know that I can count on your personal commitment to our Environmental, Health and Safety Program."
